Happy Easter Break (and what to do over break…)!

I wish everyone a happy and blessed Easter — and a relaxing Easter break!

8th graders have two assignments they should be considering over break:

  1. The Archdiocesan Trinity Project – presentations due 4/22.
  2. The Archdiocesan Pro-Life Essay Contest – final drafts due 5/1.

If students have any questions about either of these — or if they have a draft/outline they would like for me to proofread — they should email me. They are also encouraged to text me and say I should check my inbox; this will ensure a fast response from me.

Once again, I hope everyone has a fantastic Easter!

Westside Story @ Creighton

Following our spectacular field trip to Creighton’s theater department, Alpha Psi Omega (the honors society that organized the tour and workshop) has invited the 8th grade to attend the CU production of Westside Story. There is a special performance on Wednesday night for middle/high school students — ADMISSION IS FREE — and Holy Ghosters are encouraged to come. 7:30pm, doors open at 7:00.

Other showtimes for this weekend are as follows —

Thursday, 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00)

Friday, 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00)

Saturday, 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00)

Sunday, 2:00 pm (doors open at 1:30)

EXTRA CREDIT FOR ANY STUDENT THAT ATTENDS A PERFORMANCE AND BRINGS BACK A PROGRAM AUTOGRAPHED BY A CAST MEMBER!!!

The performances have been selling out, so be sure to call the Creighton Box Office (402-280-1448) and reserve tickets. The theater has no pity for the latecomer — for the show must go on!
